Farmers® New Distinct Homeowners Program Now Available to Agents in Georgia, Maryland and Kentucky
Grand Rapids, MI - With a new approach to rating and a program designed for a variety of risks, the Farmers Insurance Group® rolls out a new homeowners program to agents in three more states.
Farmers DISTINCTCHOICESM Home launched to independent agents in Georgia, Maryland and Kentucky on September 1. These states follow launches in Pennsylvania, New York, Louisiana and Mississippi, and the launch of DISTINCTCHOICESM Auto in 2007.
The program is based on a rating approach that correlates with the risk and the individual perils a homeowner may face. This platform allows Farmers to accept a broader range of homes. Additionally, the customer has more choices when it comes to coverages and settlement options, and more deductible choices that fit their budget and lifestyle.
A variety of discounts are available to qualifying customers including Age 50 Up, Multiple Policies, Claims Free Experience, Affinity, Home Renovation, Burglar and Fire Alarms, and more. (Not all discounts available in all states.)
